Payments and Safety
When you sign up as a member or make a recurrent donation to Designers without Borders Dk you approve that we are entitled to continuously complete transactions on your payment card.
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro).
We use Stripe for all payments.
Anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
All transactions are SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protected, which means that your information is securely transmitted during the processing of all payments.
All credit card numbers are encrypted and safely stored in Stripe’s data-center and Designers without Borders DK does not have access to this information.
Management of memberships and donations
We use Donorbox to manage our donations. After you sign up as a member or make a recurring donation, you will receive an email to set up a Donorbox donor account by creating a password. The email you used making the donation will be your username. Don’t worry! We won’t bother you with any extra emails – this is simply for you to have easy access to make changes in your membership at any time.
Registration of information
We keep the personal information that you provide to us for a maximum of 5 years. We do not pass your personal information on to third parties.
Rights of revocation
There are no rights of revocation on donations already transferred/payed, or on membership fees already transferred/payed.
Cancellation of subscription or recurring donations.
You can, at any time cancel your membership or change/cancel your recurrent donation. To edit/cancel go to Donorbox.org and log in to your donor account by clicking the Donor Login link at the top of the page. If you didn’t set up your account via the setup email, you can use the Retrieve My Account link. This will allow you to establish a donor account.

No VAT is charged on donations.

As a member of Designers without Borders DK transactions will take place once a year.
Recurrent donations will take place monthly.
These payments will continue until you cancel your membership or donation.
Change / renewal of card number
If the card number is changed, you will automatically receive an e-mail informing you that the most recent payment could not be made. You will then need to sign up for the automatic payment again.
Each time a new amount is deducted from the card number you have registered for your automatic payment, you will automatically receive an email with a receipt.
